Lifetry — The Art of Words, The Words of Life.

What if I don't call this poetryor even a dub and though it rhymesI wonder if it should because to finally deliver a message,I wish it could,as this is not what I feel, who I am or even I-tryAnd it doesn't matter the languageEnglish, Spanish or even mytryThis is lifetryIn the harsh, tough places where life meets poetryWhere it grows a voice and speakNot just through meBut whatever it needs if it's an earthquake, a tsunami,a girl who's sixteenAs life chooses the strangest places if you know whatI mean.
Lifetry is the home of a working poet — a place to read the poems, hear them read aloud, and bring the work into a room.

About
Fenton A. Bennett
Fenton A. Bennett, popularly known as Blabba, is a Jamaican poet who writes and performs as Lifetry. In his own words, it is where life meets poetry — “in the harsh, tough places,” where it grows a voice and speaks.
Off stage he is warm and easygoing, the kind of person who is easy to talk to. On stage, and when something matters, he is outspoken: he says what he thinks and he means it. He spends much of his time with young people, and they hear the same honesty from him that his readers do.
